"Keep your hands off the motion club!" (Eizōken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! in japanese) is a 12-chapter anime series.
I watched it during its weekly emmission, which is kind of unusual for me, as I normally wait for all of them to be released in order not to wait a week between each one. It was so good and entretaining that I just couldn't help myself.
The story's three protagonists are Kanamori, Asakusa and Mizusaki, three students who decide to form an animation club to produce short films. Each girl plays a different role whithin this club, and they result in a quirky and unusual, but also very hard-working trio.
As simple as this premise might seem, the execution of the series is just the best. It offers such a realistic insight of how animation studios work, how decisions are made, how problems are acknoledged and how the creative development of a movie works and evolves, from the first day of production all the way to the end of it (Not to mention how funny and unique each of the members is)
This series is unlike anything I've ever seen, and the fact that it doesn't fall into any stereotypes (It happens all the time with this kind of series, specially if anime is what we're
dealing with) makes everything so refreshing and enjoyable.
I would recommend this series to anyone that likes animation, comedy or japanese animation in general.
